We are still here!

Hi all, just wanted to let you know we are still here and doing well! Unfortunately I have been having some computer problems and as a result uploading pics to the blogger platform is just not going well. Please forgive me for the lack of posts and once I get to some decent internet and an apple "genius bar" I will have tons of pics to upload and post on!
The team has been doing AMAZING while here- they have been blessing our local community and us personally in so many ways! They have nearly completed our roof,  plastered an orphan home, built a roof for the same home, will have done TWO latrines (including digging the pit), poured a sidewalk for the campsite, spoken in churches, visited our school and fellowshipped with kids and thats about half of it! They have three days left here at the farm, and then we leave for Beira to drop them off. Pray for travel safety, no problems in customs etc and that their lives will have been impacted by Mozambique and her people.
Pray for Rick and I as we balance hosting the team for the last few days, with intensive seminars, preparing for our own journey home (including packing up our house etc) and so much more. Thanks for all the prayers!
God Bless,
Rick, Heather & Tendai

This is my 200th Post. :)

This is my 200th Post. What better way to mark it then posting a few (very few im afraid) pics of the group from our home church in Grunthal getting their hands dirty as they serve here alongside of us.
The group spent 7 days up north in the community of Baue, where we were hosted by Pastor Elias and his family. They put new roofs on several orphan homes, delivered orphan care packs, led Children's programs, participated in church services, played with hundreds of kids and pretty much did whatever we asked of them! Unfortunately, I have a bit of a computer problem right now with my iphoto completly freezing up every time I open it, so I cant post a lot of pictures, but here are a few Ive managed to get out!
Working on orphan home roofs. One of the roofs they tried to work on was on top of a very old house, when one of the locals jumped up to help them the WHOLE house collapsed! (literally fell down flat!) So... we changed our plans a bit and completly rebuilt an entire home for the widow and the two orphans she cares for, it was amazing to see the team come together and get much more accomplished than we even though possible!
Praying for the children and families receiving the orphan care packs.
Cooking over a propane cooker in the dirt in our little campsite enclosure.
Now that we are back home at the farm, they jumped right into working on our house! Amazing to see things progressing so fast! If you would like to keep updated on the progress the team is making you can check out our group page on facebook https://www.facebook.com/groups/251931011582026/ Its called "The Do Crew- GALF-Mozambique 2012" feel free to look us up and join the group for daily updates on what is going on!

Please keep praying for the team, for their health and safety, that lives would be changed by their visit (both theirs and locals) and that we would continue to be encouraged by their visit! We have been so blessed so far by them and cant believe their visit is almost half over! Where did the time go?!!!

In other news, thanks to a wonderful friend back home, who took it upon herself to find the funds for Tendai and I, we will now be going back home in August for Rick's brother Kevin's wedding to his lovely Bride to be, Breanne (who happens to be here now with the group!). Rick will return in early september, but Tendai and I will stay in Canada until mid October- visiting family, friends, getting doctors and dentists appointments out of the way, and will have the opportunity to attend the FCA Conference in WPG to represent SAM Ministries alongside others from our mission as well. Please pray for us as we travel and as we leave our home mid construction. Pray that work will be able to continue, that funding will come in, and that this visit will be a time of refreshing for us as a family, spiritually, emotionally and also that we will be able to fellowship with our family, friends and supporters.

Thanks again for all your prayer and support! God Bless, Rick, Heather & Tendai
